    winds & seas remain the same for next two days..3 to 4 foot seas, winds se to sw at 10 to 15. Enjoy!!!

    AREA THROUGH MON. FRESH TO STRONG SE WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
    THE WESTERN GULF LATE TUE AND WED IN RESPONSE TO DEEPENING AREA
    OF LOW PRES IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE. STRONG HIGH PRES WILL PUSH
    SOUTHWARD INTO THE NORTHERN GULF WED. LOW PRES SYSTEM EXPECTED
    TO DEVELOP IN THE NW GULF NEAR 28N95W LATE WED AND MOVE TO NEAR
    29N86W LATE THU. THE LOW WILL SHIFT NE OF THE AREA FRI WITH
    ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT SHIFTING SE OF THE GULF WATERS FRI NIGHT.

    Leigh Ann, we did get hit with the same storm, but it didn’t really cause us any stress. We doused the mainsail and sailed downwind on the jib alone until the storms passed and then put main back up and continued on our way. easy peasy!
