Great Use for a GoPro

I got a GoPro for Christmas and I’ve been having a lot of fun on the ski slopes with it. I got to thinking about how I could turn a toy in to a tool for the boat. Here’s what I came up with:

My GoPro model has a wifi connection that allows me to preview and record from my iPhone. I was HOPING that the wifi would work through the water, but that didn’t work at all, so my back up was to put the camera in record mode, attach it to a boat hook and try to stab a view of my sail drive and rudder. Not bad for a first attempt…
