Green Turtle Cay

We spent 2 nights at Munjack Cay and then moved to Green Turtle yesterday morning (5 miles). Green Turtle has two fantastic anchorages – Black Sound and White Sound. We chose White Sound, because, well you, know — Black Sound reminds me of Black Sheep and I certainly am NOT the black sheep in my family…

Any way, as we motored in we spotted another Manta 40, Malolo, and since it’s a known fact that Mantas prefer to run in schools, we dropped our anchor next to them. It turns out there are two other Mantas anchored over in Black Sound. Mantas Rule Green Turtle!!

Today we shared a golf cart rental with Brad and Joanne from Malolo and cruised over to Plymouth Town, the oldest settlement in the Bahamas. We did a bit of grocery shopping ($7.50 for a bag of Doritos!!) and had lunch. We have had rain most of the day, but that didn’t stop us from having a great day.
